A Scholarship offered by: The Balanced Man Program Dear Incoming Freshman,
On behalf of the Minnesota Alpha Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, I congratulate you on your acceptance to the University of Minnesota. With your admission, you are eligible to apply for the Balanced Man Scholarship. Each year the University of Minnesota chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon presents the Balanced Man Scholarship to several male students exemplifying the Balanced Man ideal.
The concept of the balanced man challenges our members to excel in academics, leadership, and community involvement with the ultimate goal of becoming the future leaders of America. Applying the ideal of the Balanced Man philosophy as a guidepost, the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon are among the most active students on campus.
The Balanced Man Scholarship is designed to recognize those high school seniors who have significant accomplishments, proven leadership abilities, academic success and who are destined to continue this record of excellence in college.
Attached is an application for the Balanced Man Scholarship. Applicants are not obligated to join Sigma Phi Epsilon. We want to reward those men who exemplify the Balanced Man way of life - a way of life that promotes men to be athletes, gentlemen, leaders and scholars. In order to qualify, the applicant must be registered as a full-time student at the University of Minnesota for the 2008-2009 academic year. The application deadline is TBD.
Scroll down to fill out the application and submit it to our reviewing committee.
Thank you for taking the time to apply, and best of luck with your transition to the University of Minnesota. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Matt Mangskau at (507) 383 - 5830 or mangs002@umn.edu.
Best Regards, Zack Krause |
